We wanted something for our entertainment room / movie theater without the need for a big screen TV and something that we can take outside or on the road when we travel in our RV. This is the perfect product for all of our needs. We can access all of our streaming subscriptions and watch all of our favorites tv shows effortlessly. The projection is clear and crisp without compromising on the visual. Very happy with the quality and the purchase.

The key here is this is a five-star projector FOR TWO HUNDRED BUCKS. If you expect something to wow you in your home theater you\'ll be really disappointed. As a first-time projector buyer I really had to learn the ropes as far as what this projector is and isn\'t.Image quality:I can play games, movies, or even plug it into my PC and easily do any work on it. It is bright as advertised, but you will want generally a room with windows closed and lights off. Even with lights on in my room I can read the projector screen but there\'s no way I\'d watch a movie like that. The colors and contrast are really lacking. Comparing it side by side to an entry-level asus 24 inch monitor I can notice so many more shades of color on the asus than goodee. And if you try to artificially mess with any of the settings it only ends up looking worse. For example in a dark show you really can\'t see much but if you adjust the brightness too much up then it blows out the whites. Certain colors like reds and greens do look fairly ugly when they are of subtle hues because the screen kind of blends them together. All that said movies are definitely watchable and FOR THE PRICE a great experience. It does do native 1080P 60Hz. Some competing brands say they do but they don\'t. This one seemed smooth when gaming I\'m almost surprised to say.Positioning the screen:You can either mount it on the ceiling or put it nearer the ground depending on whether you place the projector right side up or upside-down. But you really do need it to pretty much be centered. There is no way to horizontally adjust the position of the screen from the center of the lens. And you can only adjust it vertically by 15 degrees, and even that I wouldn\'t recommend because you quickly get distortion. So the takeaway is you have to place the projector straight-on from the wall that you\'re using. It does allow you to downscale the image a little bit, but for the most part the size of the image will be 100% a function of the distance to the wall. At 10 feet away, the screen is 90 inches measured diagonally, for a reference point.Input lag:This is a very hard spec to find. And it can be a real issue on some of these budget Chinese projectors if you want to use it for gaming. Or even for desktop computing the mouse cursor can be very laggy on bad projectors! On this one I can see it is perfectly suited for computing or gaming. It is responsive, and yeah given a choice due to image quality I\'d prefer to game on a different screen.Other features:I haven\'t tried the sound built in with the unit. It does emit a decent amount of sound from the fan, like.. well, like a quiet room fan. So anything with reasonable volume will drown it out. But if you have it near your head it could be annoying. It generates a lot of heat too not surprisingly. It\'s a pretty attractive unit with easy-to-use (albeit limited) menus.Let me just summarize again by saying that it is easy to get a lemon for this price and I have seen some horror stories. But this projector overall just seems to have a solid set of features for the price to do entry level viewing of really any kind of media. And not doing anything really badly for 200 bucks to me makes it a superior product. If you want something that will be for more serious movie watching I suggest you spend at least 500 bucks for some of the entry level viewsonic or other brands.
